If you gave our co-workers a quiz, 'who said this,' I'm pretty sure his name wouldn't have come up.
Overheard conversation between Kelsey and one of our favorite male colleagues.
K: You were a gymnast in college?
Colleague: Yes. But in high school, all I wanted to do was dance.

Relevant
Laura to Jenni while working on a "hip" project targeted toward a younger audience.
Laura: "You're so relevant."
Jenni: "I'm so relevant I'm irrelevant."
Love it.

Sky Talking
In response to an e-mail from Kelsey asking a question about if we'd ever had conversation about a project the other day, Laura wrote back that the idea had been discussed, but instead of saying that it was a "high end discussion," Laura chose to use the phrase "sky talking" and the proceeded to send the e-mail, and quickly send a follow up e-mail to say, "I have no idea what I meant by that." It is now a phrase that we are going to use to talk about when people make really lofty statements or sound pompous. "Oh, they were just 'sky talking.'"

Things you don't expect to hear at work
Overheard Kelsey on the phone:
"Do you see any tree waste or just a chain saw?"

A new description of happiness
Yesterday it was taco salad day. And it was free if you attended the all-staff meeting. We are big fans of the taco salad so we were quite elated. Our joy morphed into a new way to express happiness.
Kelsey: That makes me happy!
Thad: Happy like free taco salad day?

The Count
Me: I have three lamps in my office.
Thad: One... two... three... ah, ha, ha. Three lamps. [in the voice of the count]
Me: Does the Count have a last name?
Kelsey: I'll look it up. Nope. He's just the Count.
Thad: There's a video on YouTube that has part of the Count's song bleeped out.
Thad: There's a Muppet Wiki.
Kelsey: Of course there is.
Thad: The Count's favorite TV show is 24. I'm reading the Count trivia.
