In response to an e-mail from Kelsey asking a question about if we'd ever had conversation about a project the other day, Laura wrote back that the idea had been discussed, but instead of saying that it was a "high end discussion," Laura chose to use the phrase "sky talking" and the proceeded to send the e-mail, and quickly send a follow up e-mail to say, "I have no idea what I meant by that." It is now a phrase that we are going to use to talk about when people make really lofty statements or sound pompous. "Oh, they were just 'sky talking.'"
Or it could stand for a conversation that took place but it didn't go anywhere like many of our meetings. The idea is still out floating around somewhere in the sky.
